Combos & tricks
Tetris · Four lines at once
Leave a one-column well and fit a vertical I piece into it to clear four lines with one placement.
800 × level points and 4 garbage rows. Qualifies for back-to-back bonuses.
T-spin · Rotate into a pocket
Lock a T piece with at least three of the 4 squares diagonally adjacent to its center are occupied. Rotation must be its last successful move: moving or dropping to another cell afterwards cancels the spin.
Scores even without a line clear. T-spin Singles, Doubles and Triples qualify for back-to-back bonuses.
Combo · Keep clearing
Clear at least one line with consecutive pieces. The second clear starts the bonus. The chain ends when you place a piece without clearing a line.
Add 50 × level on the second clear, 100 × level on the third, 150 × level on the fourth, and so on. Combos do not add extra garbage rows.
Back-to-back · Chain difficult clears
Follow a Tetris or T-spin line clear with another of either type. Placements without a clear keep the chain alive, but an ordinary Single, Double or Triple breaks it.
From the second qualifying clear, earn 1.5× its base clear score and send 1 extra garbage row.
Perfect clear · Empty the board
Clear the final occupied lines so that no blocks remain anywhere on your board.
Add 2,000 × level points. In battle, replace the base attack with 6 garbage rows, or 7 when a back-to-back bonus also applies.
Wall kicks · Find the fit
Rotating beside a wall or a stack can nudge a piece into a nearby open space. Tuck pieces into gaps or build a T-spin setup.
A placement technique with no score bonus of its own.
Scoring & battle attacks
| Clear | Score × level | Garbage rows |
|---|---|---|
| Single · 1 line | 100 | 0 |
| Double · 2 lines | 300 | 1 |
| Triple · 3 lines | 500 | 2 |
| Tetris · 4 lines | 800 | 4 |
| T-spin · No lines | 400 | 0 |
| T-spin Single | 800 | 2 |
| T-spin Double | 1,200 | 4 |
| T-spin Triple | 1,600 | 6 |
Apply the back-to-back multiplier when earned, then multiply the base score by your current level. Add any combo or perfect-clear bonus described above. Soft drop earns 1 point per row and hard drop earns 2 points per row, without a level multiplier.
Garbage rows apply in multiplayer. Your attack cancels pending incoming rows first, then sends any remainder to one opponent. Combos add score, but no extra garbage rows.
